The Family Favorite Grocery Credit Card

This post is sponsored by U.S. BANK and Kroger.

The grocery store that I shop the most at is Kroger, along with their other brands such as King Soopers and City Market. While we do travel full-time, I always make sure to go to one of those whenever I grocery shop as much as I can. And, recently the Kroger brand came out with a great new rewards credit card. So, if you shop at Kroger or at one of their other grocery stores, you may want to look into possibly applying for this rewards credit card. The Kroger REWARDS Visa card is a smart rewards credit card to choose if you’re feeding a family and if you tend to shop at Kroger. This rewards credit card can be used for your everyday purchases too, not just at Kroger. Using your credit card means that you can gain points and get things for free or cheap all just for using your credit card. If you are going to pay for something anyways, then you might as well get something for free out of it, right? By using this rewards credit card, you’ll earn rewards on future purchases as well as on gas (Kroger already offers great fuel savings as well!).

With this card, you can earn:

  1. 1 point for every qualifying net $1 you spend everywhere Visa® is accepted

  2. 2 points for every qualifying net $1 you spend at Kroger

  3. 3 points for every qualifying net $1 you spend on Kroger Family of Brands products (i.e. Kroger brand, Simple Truth, Private Selection, PSST)

Every 1,000 points is $5 towards a future purchase too! You earn FREE groceries with rewards checks, sent automatically from Kroger four times each year. This rewards credit card is a good way to save money on your future grocery purchases without having to do anything too extra than what you are already doing. Plus, there’s another great benefit of having this rewards credit card. As a Kroger REWARDS Visa card, you will save an extra $0.25 per gallon of fuel for one year, each time you redeem 100 Fuel Points. This is a great way to save on fuel and it is for one full year. *Earn points on net spend toward free groceries, excluding purchases made at The Kroger Family of Companies Fuel Centers. Net spend is purchases minus credits and returns. You must scan, redeem points and pay with your Kroger REWARDS Visa® in order to receive the fuel discount. Additional 25¢ discount offer expires one year from the cardholder’s approval date. Upon expiration, cardholder will receive additional 5¢ fuel discount at The Kroger Family of Companies Fuel Centers when they scan, redeem points and pay with their Kroger REWARDS Visa®.
