Save Money with an All-Inclusive Holiday

Many people are wary of all-inclusive holidays due to the initial purchase price being higher than any other type of break and in some cases they may be right.

An all-inclusive holiday may well be a waste of money in Indonesia, where the equivalent of one British pound will get you enough groceries to last three whole days and it is probably not worthwhile in Thailand when you can get a full meal from a street vendor for the equivalent of about 60p and even a large beer cost only 90p.

However, in France the average price for a beer is more like £4.95 and food is not so cheap either – depending on what you plan on doing during your holiday it could definitely be worth considering all-inclusive as an option, but if you’re planning on lying on the beach “in a haze of free alcohol”, you might just be wasting one of the best experiences of your life.

With all-inclusive deals at Virgin Holidays, though, you can take away all the worrying about your food and drink budget and enjoy a relaxing week or two away eating and drinking as much as you like without it costing you a single penny more.

An all-inclusive holiday features all you can eat buffets three times per day, plus most resorts also have some form of bar snacks or pool-side café open all day. Soft drinks, tea and coffee, beer, wine and all local spirits are also included, so you can drink as much or as little as you like each and every day.

Some destinations even include access to certain local restaurants in the package. As a family of four the price of food and drink can drastically cut into your holiday budget, with even a light lunch costing around £30 once drinks are factored in and an evening meal can cost around £80 each and every night if you eat out.

Spread this over a fortnight and you realize you have spent the same amount again as you paid for the holiday. Going all-inclusive not only saves you money but it lets you feel more relaxed knowing that your holiday spending money will stretch further without skimping on food and drinks.
