3 ways to earn with WordPress

WordPress is an established CMS and bloggers just love to hangout with it. The success of this platform lies in its simplicity and robust features. But, most of the people don’t really rely on WordPress to increase their revenues. The reason is quite simple. WordPress is an open source platform where bloggers can get everything for free. People just love free stuff and rarely interested in buying services. But, there are bloggers who really wants to make their blog successful and don’t care to spend few bucks.

The 3 ways to earn with WordPress are as follows :

1. Virtual WordPress Assistant

You are the person who helps newbies by editing or writing CSS code in the background, writing content, administrating,  installing WordPress, plugins, themes, SEO and all the WordPress related things. In other words you are the person who manages the client’s WordPress blog. Clients pay you well for the services. The job is really cool as there is nothing much to do from your side. Virtual WordPress Assistants should manage hosting control panel and run PHP scripts when necessary.

2. WordPress Theme Designer

Theme is an important aspect of any website as it mostly decides the traffic. People won’t return to the site if the design looks clumsy. So what does it mean? The theme should look professional, clean, responsive and elegant. You can find thousands of free themes on WordPress home page but there are some advantages in using Premium themes. You can read my post to know the difference between Free and Premium WordPress themes. WordPress theme designers should have good knowledge of PHP, CSS and HTML. To make it more interesting I have added infographic below.

3. Plugin developer

WordPress is really awesome because of its plugins features. WordPress users can customize their blogs with plugins according to their needs. Developers use PHP programming to develop a WordPress plugin. Being a plugin developer you can offer free and premium versions of  a plugin to the users. Developer can build a reputation in the WordPress community and make money with  the premium version of the plugin.

Conclusion: This is about 3 ways to earn with WordPress. Newbies need to learn PHP, Html, Css and JavaScript before trying hands at designing and developing. I strongly recommend to start affiliate program ( Themes, Plugins or WordPress services). It will benefit both developer and affiliate. Being an affiliate is a hassle free work as you don’t need any technical knowledge.
